Disney has long been known as a giant in the entertainment industry, producing beloved movies, TV shows, theme parks, and more. But in recent years, the company has been setting its sights even higher with what it calls its ambitious business strategy for 2022.

So what can we expect from Disney in the coming years? Let’s take a closer look.

One key aspect of Disney’s strategy is to increase its investment in streaming services. Already, the company has seen success with Disney+, which launched in late 2019 and quickly drew in millions of subscribers with its catalog of exclusive content. But Disney isn’t stopping there.

In fact, the company has announced plans to launch even more streaming services in the near future, including Hulu (which it acquired as part of its purchase of 21st Century Fox) and ESPN+. By offering a broad range of options tailored to different interests and demographics, Disney hopes to continue dominating the streaming market.

Another area where Disney is looking to expand is in theme parks and other public attractions. Although the COVID-19 pandemic put a temporary halt on the company’s plans for building new parks and expanding existing ones, Disney is looking to get back on track in the coming years.

One example of this is the ongoing construction of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, which will be a new area dedicated to all things Marvel. Additionally, Disney has announced plans to create new parks in Asia, including one in Shanghai and another in Tokyo.

Perhaps the most exciting part of Disney’s business strategy for 2022, however, is its continued investment in blockbuster movies and franchises. Over the past decade, films like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars have been huge moneymakers for the company, with fans eagerly anticipating each new release.

Disney isn’t letting up on this front, either. In the coming years, we can expect to see more Marvel movies, including Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as well as new Star Wars projects like The Book of Boba Fett and the Ahsoka spinoff series.

Overall, Disney’s ambitious business strategy for 2022 is focused on expanding its reach across a variety of different platforms and appealing to audiences of all ages and interests. From streaming services to theme parks to movies and more, Disney is continuing to set the standard for entertainment in the 21st century.
