• Upload Scanned Documents: Candidates need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.

• Pay the Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the NEET application fee online.

Admit Card

The NEET admit card is a mandatory document that candidates need to carry with them to the examination center. The NEET admit card contains details such as the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, examination center, date, and time of the exam.

Exam Pattern

The NEET exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The exam is for a total of 720 marks, and candidates are given 3 hours to complete the exam.

NEET 2021 exam would be conducted in Pen & Paper mode.

• Physics: 45 questions for 180 marks

• Chemistry: 45 questions for 180 marks

• Biology (Botany & Zoology): 90 questions for 360 marks

There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer, and no marks are deducted for unanswered questions.

Answer Key

The NTA releases the NEET answer key a few days after the exam. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their expected score in the exam. The answer key is accessible through the official NTA website.

Counseling Process

After the NEET results are out, candidates will be eligible for the counseling process based on their rank. The counseling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college.
