To mitigate the effects of stress on health, it is advisable to engage in healthy habits such as regular exercise, a nutritious and balanced diet, and sufficient sleep. Mindfulness techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, and yoga have also been shown to be effective in reducing stress. It may also be helpful to identify what causes stress and to manage one’s response to those stimuli.

In summary, stress is a ubiquitous presence in modern life and can cause serious harm to both mind and body. While stress is unavoidable, cultivating healthy habits and engaging in techniques that help manage stress can make all the difference in preventing the silent killer from taking hold.
